Our favorite blonde female Gladiator Venom, aka Beth Horn, reveals what life is like to be her. This is a nice article done by the Chicago Tribune about Beth, her husband Bruce and their life together. It adds a little humanity to that fierce attitude you see week in and week out.

Celebrity Family Feud that is… Titan, Venom, Laila Ali, Wolf and Jet make up Team “American Gladiators.” Although not announced yet, they should be appearing soon in the NBC rejuvenated game show against Team “The Office.” Last night (Tuesday), the premiere episode pitted 4 of the 24 teams against each other. Al Roker of Today Show fame is the host of this updated classic. During each episode four celebrity families will be pitted against each other in the tournament style competition, with the winner from each round moving to the final round , where they will compete to win $50,000 for their charity. Tune in to see if Team AG has the brains to go with their beauty and brawn!

The Boston Herald wrote a short bio article on Mike O’Hearn, better known as Titan, a week ago. In this piece, O’Hearn shares what his former Gladiator name was when he was an alternate in the early 90s (Thor, not much of a stretch there). He also shares that his idol growing up was none other than the governor of California himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Season 1 fan favorite Crush, aka Gina Carano, will resume her MMA fighting career next Saturday, May 31, against Kaitlin Young on CBS’ Elite XC channel. Although Carano is one of the best known female MMA fighters, this will only be Gina’s 6th fight. However, she has fought her way to the top and has been working hard to perfect her jiu-jitsu to become a better all round fighter.

The daughter of a former Dallas Cowboy’s quarterback, Gina wrapped up taping of AG Season 2 only a few weeks ago. That left her just 3 weeks to get into fight shape for this bout with Kaitlin Young. Win or lose, let’s hope Gina manages to take care of her looks so NBC doesn’t regret letting her resume her MMA career.

The newest American Gladiator for Season 2 is Xin Wuku who will be Gladiator ‘Zen’.  Xin  is 5′9″ tall, weighs 159 lbs and is a martial arts expert with acting roles in movies, commercials and music videos.  Xin is probably most famous for his youtube video titled ‘Urban Ninja’ where he did spectacular jumps and martial art moves through malls, apartments and on rooftops.  The ‘Urban Ninja’ video has been watched over 21 million times on youtube.   Xin will most likely be introduced in Episode 2 in an all-new event called SkyTrack.  For more on American Gladiator Xin ‘Zen’ Wuku check out his biography page.

No longer the tallest Gladiator, the still imposing 6′8″ mountain of a man, Justice, sat down for an interview with the New Jersey newspaper, The Leader, recently. Since Wolf, Titan and Crush grabbed all of the attention in Season 1, little is known about this behemoth. He does open up for this reporter as you will learn a little bit of the personal side of Jesse “Justice” Smith.

Wow!!! That’s what you say when you are blown away by the amazing body of the newest gladiator, Phoenix. Our friends at MonstersandCritics.com got a chance to sit down with some of the Gladiators at a breakfast junket recently in stories part one and part two. Besides learning what has Hulk’s interest and what the Gladiators eat regularly, they got to snap a few pictures. And did they deliver! Part two of the story has several photos of Toa, Wolf and our new favorite Phoenix. You’ll notice she goes from the girl next door in the first photo to the smokin’ girl next door by the third picture. Enjoy! This season looks like the Gladiators have stepped up the beauty!

Meet the newest female Gladiator for Season 2, Jennifer Widerstrom who is known as ‘Phoenix’.  Other than looking smoking hot not much is known about Phoenix except she is 5′6″ tall, weighs 155 pounds, sports pink hair and is/was a NPC Figure competitor.  Looks like Crush has some competition for the sexiest female Gladiator.  For more information on Phoenix visit her biography page here, also check out her Gladiator photos after the jump…

After winning Season 1 of American Gladiators with dominating performances Monica Carlson and Evan Dollard won the opportunity to become new Gladiators for Season 2.  With Season 2 starting May 12th the new Gladiators are looking slim, tan and ready to do battle.  Monica’s Gladiator name is Jet and Evan’s name is Rocket for good reason as he was lightning fast through most of the events including the wall in which he was unstoppable. No word on what events they will be competing in but you can bet Evan will be on The Wall.  For more information and photos on Jet and Rocket check out their biography pages.
