So it goes like this, Alex Castro or ‘Militia as he is better known in the gladiator world worked in the gay adult industry under the name Elian Cortez for COLT studios.  It looks like all he did for COLT was to pose for some nude photos with no involvment in films of any kind.  It’s not really my place to pass judgement why someone might do this unless they really needed the money.  For whatever reason I really don’t care, whats done is done and we should concentrate on his future as an American Gladiator. We have already known for a about a week or so who the new American Gladiators are but NBC wanted to officially announce the new cast to the television viewing public on Deal or No Deal last night.  NBC has also officially released a slew of photos for each gladiator in various poses.   You can see those promotional photos after the jump or check out each gladiators biography page from the links below.

Official 12 Gladiators:

Male:  Justice (Jesse Smith), Mayhem (William Romeo), Militia (Alex Castro), Titan (Mike O’Hearn), Wolf (Don Yates), Toa (Tanoai Reed).

Female: Crush (Gina Carano), Fury (Jaime Kovac), Hellga (Robin Coleman), Siren (Valerie Waugaman), Stealth (Tanji Johnson), Venom (Beth Horn).

We have not been able to confirm this but we might get to see female alternate Gladiator ‘Blast’ much sooner then expected as a forum member over at gladiatorszone.com is reporting that Gladiator ’Helga’ (Robin Coleman) blew out her knee during a gauntlet run Saturday while taping the show.  If this is true and let’s hope it’s not it would be devastating to happen right before the show even aired.  If anybody can confirm or deny please do so in the comments. The latest additions to the gladiator crew include Jesse Smith (Justice), Alex Castro (Militia), and William Romeo (Mayhem).  Not much is known at this point about Alex Castro or William Romeo but Jesse Smith whos real nickname is actually “Saint Justice” and  ”Justice” tall man at 6′ 8″ tall, weighing 230 lbs.  Justice is mainly a kick boxer by trade but has competed in the WWE “Tough Enough”.  He also has a few televison and movie roles to his name being in the film ‘Like Mike’ and Gilmore Girls.  For more info on Jesse Justice Smith check out his biography page. The names of the new american gladiators are starting to trickle out one by one with Don “Hollywood” Yates  or Wolf as he will be called on the show is the newest gladiator to be added.  Hollywood Yates as most everybody calls him and as his website states is 6′ 4″, 240 lbs with long blonde hair.  Hollywood Yates has had an extensive career in Rodeo as a bull fighter and most recently he has taken up pro wrestling in WWE.  For more news on Don “Hollywood” Yates check out his biography page.

We have known for a few days Gina Carano, Muay Thai and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter was going to be one of the new Gladiators but we were unsure of which one.  Well it has been confirmed she will be gladiator ‘Crush’, a new name added to the mix for more then one reason I am sure.  Gina Carano is currently a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter with a record of 5-0-0 and a fight as recent as September 15 of this year against Tonya Evinger who she defeated via a choke submission.  Check out Gina’s biography for more info, photos and fun facts about her life.
