It has come time to meet the 24 contenders who will give their life and limb to do battle against the Gladiators all season long for a chance to win $100K.  Looking over the contender list we have an eclectic group of individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds including a professional chef, a powerlifting champion, New York firefighter, professional skateboarder, bullrider, lawyer, chiropracter, two teachers and the list goes on.  For the complete list of all 24 contenders with their mini biographies follow the link to read more.

We have learned that one of the first contenders on the new American Gladiators will be professional skateborder Chad Knight who will appear on the premiere episode January 6th.  Chad who recently turned 31 in November has had a long and eventfull professional skateboarding career that has spanned some 20 years from the time he was a child.  He is currently with 1031 Skateboards where he is working on several projects.  Check out Chad’s website for more information.
