For the first season of American Gladiators we know there will be two alternate Gladiators in case a regular one gets injured or has other obligations whatever they might be.  The male alternate Gladiator is ‘Hammer’ (Michael Briehler) and the female alternate is ‘Blast’ (Jenny Barry) according to Hardbody.com.  Male Gladiator Michael Briehler is a fresh face recently out of college from Rider University Business School where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship studies.  Nothing is known about Jenny Barry just yet but we will keep digging and find something. The latest additions to the gladiator crew include Jesse Smith (Justice), Alex Castro (Militia), and William Romeo (Mayhem).  Not much is known at this point about Alex Castro or William Romeo but Jesse Smith whos real nickname is actually “Saint Justice” and  ”Justice” tall man at 6′ 8″ tall, weighing 230 lbs.  Justice is mainly a kick boxer by trade but has competed in the WWE “Tough Enough”.  He also has a few televison and movie roles to his name being in the film ‘Like Mike’ and Gilmore Girls.  For more info on Jesse Justice Smith check out his biography page.

These three gentlemen take us up to 5 of the 7 male gladiators with the exception of ‘Toa’ and the alternate gladiator Hammer who is not known.  Keep checking back for more American Gladiator information.
