No longer the tallest Gladiator, the still imposing 6′8″ mountain of a man, Justice, sat down for an interview with the New Jersey newspaper, The Leader, recently. Since Wolf, Titan and Crush grabbed all of the attention in Season 1, little is known about this behemoth. He does open up for this reporter as you will learn a little bit of the personal side of Jesse “Justice” Smith.

Gladiator Justice takes a few minutes out of his day to talk with Tony Rose on The Tony Rose Morning Show on 100.7 Sam FM out of Bowling Green, Kentucky. It’s only a few minutes long so give it a listen.

The Grammy Awards are going on tonight and the American Gladiators have two representatives in Wolf & Justice on hand to promote the show. Wolf did a short interview with a few radio personalities talking about growing up, his workout regimen, what he eats and of course he mentions the show. American Gladiators has caught the eye of mainstream sports giant ESPN, well, their Page 2 section at least.  Lead columnist Bill Simmons must have been too busy, too afraid or maybe just too smart as 5′9″ writer Sam Alipour was sent to Stage 30 at Sony Pictures Studios to experience the behind the scenes action of AG. 

Check out video evidence of this weekend warrior’s encounter with childhood hero Hulk Hogan and the beatings he receives from 6′8″ Justice on the Pyramid and the sexy MMA pro, Crush, on the joust podium.  He also provides a humorous account of his visit as well in his column.

The latest additions to the gladiator crew include Jesse Smith (Justice), Alex Castro (Militia), and William Romeo (Mayhem).  Not much is known at this point about Alex Castro or William Romeo but Jesse Smith whos real nickname is actually “Saint Justice” and  ”Justice” tall man at 6′ 8″ tall, weighing 230 lbs.  Justice is mainly a kick boxer by trade but has competed in the WWE “Tough Enough”.  He also has a few televison and movie roles to his name being in the film ‘Like Mike’ and Gilmore Girls.  For more info on Jesse Justice Smith check out his biography page.

These three gentlemen take us up to 5 of the 7 male gladiators with the exception of ‘Toa’ and the alternate gladiator Hammer who is not known.  Keep checking back for more American Gladiator information.

With the taping of the show already underway and a full studio audience on hand you knew some details were going to get out even though no cameras or phones are aloud into the studio.  The Gladiators names were picked up by some of the audience members and posted across the net, it looks like we are going to have 12 Gladiators.  The Gladiators names are Helga, Siren, Fury, Venom, Wolf, Justice, Toa, Titan, Stealth, Mayhem, Militia and Blast.  It’s really just a matter of time before all the details come out on who the Gladiators are and what names go with each.
